The iodine-infused incise drape features a yellowish, adhesive, transparent layer made from polyurethane or polyethylene film. It contains iodide ions at a concentration of approximately 0.0782 to 0.115 mg per 100 mm². This design allows for breathability, thereby reducing moisture accumulation beneath the drape. It conforms to the skin’s surface during extended surgical procedures and effectively reaches the wound margins.
